My contribution to excellent programme outcomes and student progression is derived from my research-led approach to teaching. I explore key real-world issues of importance to today’s management and leadership students and teach in a way which allows them to develop academic skills and enhance their employability attributes. I have received the following teaching accolades which evidence this approach:

• Received the Division of Population Health (DPH) Learning Support Excellence Award in 2023.

• Nominated for The University of Sheffield Education Awards - Education for Sustainable Development in 2023.

• Consistently high module evaluation by students. Module “Managing and Leading Health Services” total score (out of 5): 4.4 (2021), 4.7 (2022), and 4.4 (2023).

• Obtained FHEA fellowship in 2022.
